CHNK is a mixed-media artist from South Florida who brings complex illustrations, fresh color combinations and an emotional perspective to deteriorating, everyday objects.

After the Maryland Institute College of Arts rejected his portfolio submission, CHNK decided to dedicate his energy to being the most active and self-improved artist he could be. He is influenced by graffiti aesthetics, classic comic books, sign painting and the deconstruction of typography. CHNK is known for his use of slang and letter manipulations mixed with fine linework and illustrated features. His works integrate spray paint, acrylic, ink, enamel, gouache, textiles and found objects.
